Crystal Cook, CMT - Infant Massage Classes
Crystal graduated from Heritage Massage Institute in Falls Church, VA in 2005 with a certificate in Massage Therapy & Bodywork. The 720 hour state accredited program included anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, pathology, Swedish, sports, trigger point therapy and deep tissue education. She has since obtained her National Certification in Massage & Bodywork and is registered with the NCBTMB. Crystal specializes in infant massage and truly enjoys working with new mommies. Tuan Huynh, CMT - Massage Therapy
Tuan graduated from The Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage in 2010. He believes in the healing power of touch and his massage focuses on addressing the specific needs of his clients. His technique is a combination of relaxation, comfort, and pain relief. Tuan has also served a Fitness Trainer/Nutritionist since 2009. He enjoys sharing his passion for fitness and therapeutic massage with others to show them how rewarding healing arts can truly be.
Mary Kubisch, CMT - Massage Therapy
Mary graduated from Heritage Massage Institute in 2007 with a certificate in Massage Therapy & Bodywork. Mary practices Integrative Massage, which means she combines techniques from different modalities to truly customize each massage. She studied Prenatal Massage with Elaine Stillerman, LMT, one of the leading experts in this field. She has also had advanced training in dealing with chronic pain issues, and her therapeutic touch has helped clients overcome pain due to illness, injury and overall stress and anxiety. Jamie Mueller, MS - Childbirth Education & Postpartum Doula
Jamie is the founder of Birthing Confidence, which seeks to provide customized and easily accessible childbirth education and postpartum doula support options for your unique needs. After having a natural birth with her twins, she became passionate about ensuring all parents have access to high quality, evidence-based childbirth education - especially parents expecting multiples. Jamie holds a Masters in Social Work and four years in crisis intervention, suicide prevention, and information and referral counseling. Casandra (Casie) Roell, CMT
Casie (pronounced Cass-EE) is a licensed massage therapist who has practiced in both Virginia and North Carolina. Casie trained under Dr. Eric Berg at the Health and Wellness Center of Alexandria. In her time there, she learned how to address a client’s needs holistically. Her expertise includes abdominal acupressure and recommendations for exercise, diet, and supplements that will support your healing process. In these programs, your path to health is personalized during weekly sessions. With Casie’s attention to holistic healing, her clients have seen powerful results.
Casie also offers traditional styles of massage including Swedish, deep tissue. She specializes in working with neck, shoulder, and wrist pain. Casie has learned potent techniques for relieving chronic pain in these areas. By tracing the pain to its source, she is able to address not only symptoms but the root cause, helping clients recover from long-time injuries.
Erika Stahl, RDN - Dietitian, Nutritional Counseling
Erika earned her BS degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at Radford University. She has a wealth of experience as a dietitian providing nutrition counseling and education to both children and adults, with various different medical conditions. Erika obtained her certificate of training in Childhood and Adolescent weight management in 2015.
In October 2011, Erika was diagnosed with celiac disease, an auto-immune condition for which the only effective treatment is a strict gluten-free diet. She is passionate about helping others learn to control symptoms of medical conditions through nutritional therapy and to help others enhance their wellness journeys through optional nutritional choices.
