Epiphany Pilates is so honored to have been selected as one of the local businesses to be featured by the City of Fairfax, Fairfax City’s Economic Development Authority, and the Central Fairfax Chamber of Commerce in a holiday shopping event to make Small Business Saturday not so small.

Small Business Saturday - the Saturday after Thanksgiving - has become a national tradition that celebrates the beginning of the holiday season. A special Small Business Saturday event, Fairfax City-opoly, has been organized to celebrate the small and independent businesses that call Fairfax City home. When we shop small and local, we are supporting not only our city but its unique neighborhoods and families.

On Saturday, November 24th, and Sunday, November 25th, everyone is encouraged to get out and shop local with our Fairfax City-opoly game.  Make a purchase at 5 of the participating businesses and each business will stamp your game board for a chance to win a $600 cash prize and $100 gift card to Twin’s Ace Hardware, Fairfax.  You can also visit 10 of the participating businesses to be eligible for a $300 cash prize.

Once your board game is stamped with either purchases from 5 stores or visits to 10 stores, submit it to our Fairfax City’s Office of Economic Development at 10455 Armstrong Street, #316, Fairfax, VA, 22030 or email it to EconomicDevelopment@fairfaxva.gov by Friday, November 30th.  The winner will be announced on Monday, December 3 on fairfaxcityconnected.com and the Economic Development Authority’s Facebook page at facebook.com/FairfaxCityEDA/.

Game boards will be available in the studio and at the Welcome Station on Saturday, November 24 from 9:30 am till 1:30 pm at Old Town Square, 10415 North Street, Fairfax, VA 22030. Stop by the Fairfax City Economic Development Authority tent and  pick up a Shop Small® tote bag and a Fairfax City –opoly game board, enjoy local treats, take pictures in our photo booth, and receive a $5.00 voucher to Fairfax City businesses while supplies last.
