Become a Pilates Instructor at Epiphany Pilates in 2022

The Epiphany Pilates Teacher Training and Apprenticeship Program offers a challenging and rewarding 565-hour comprehensive curriculum to those who want to delve deep into the Pilates methodology and learn to transport clients beyond the surface of the movements. Participants will develop a concrete understanding of the Pilates repertoire, including apparatus and mat exercises, as well as the best way to guide each client throughout their Pilates journey. Our program focuses on kinesiology and anatomy, leaving participants fully equipped to see each client as a whole body and to design individualized movement sequences to effectively meet their needs. Participants will complete a written research paper and presentation after working with one private client, representing a special population, for a minimum of 24 consecutive sessions. A detailed analysis of the client’s progress must be included. Presentation and research paper are due before the practical and teaching exam dates.

Upon completion of the program, all participants are expected to sit for the Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT) certification exam. The exam fee is $295 and includes the exam and the first two years of certification. Participants must register and pay exam fees directly to the National Pilates Certification Program (NPCP).

Includes interactive lectures, program testing fees and studio access for observation and practical hours. Required reading materials and study resources must be purchased separately.

During the 12-month program, participants are eligible to attend all Pilates classes for free, if space is available in the class; however, they may not reserve a spot in the class prior to the start time. Participants also receive 25% off all purchases of Pilates private sessions and classes throughout the completion of the program, but for no more than 12 months from the start date. Participants who demonstrate proficiency and meet certain requirements will be eligible to receive a portion of paid apprenticeship hours.

Additional fees will be applied for participants who do not complete all requirements within 12 months of start of the program.

Admission

Prospective participants of the Epiphany Pilates Teacher Training and Apprenticeship Program must submit an application as well as complete an pre-evaluation session and interview. The pre-evaluation session and application fee is $100. Applicants must demonstrate a passion for Pilates and a basic understanding of the methodology principles.
